SPECIAL ANNUAL EVENTS

Troop Care Package Donations

During the period surrounding Patriot Day each year, White Chapel hosts its Troop Care Package Collection Drive to provide “a little bit of home and comfort” to overseas military troops. During the annual drive, White Chapel collects new items for care packages that troops might ordinarily find in their homes back in Michigan.

The 2019 item collection will take place beginning at the Patriots Race on Sunday, September 8th, and continues through Friday, September 20. Week day and Saturday collections are 12 - 4 p.m. Drop off your donations at the Patriots Race on September 8, or at the Temple of Memories at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery at 621 W. Long Lake Rd. (west of I-75) in Troy.
A complete list of suggested items to donate can be found HERE.
